Career Framework
The Career Framework is most easily described as a matrix with the new Position Designations along the horizontal axis and the relevant Competencies or skill on the vertical axis. The Position Designations have replaced the numeric pay grades used previously. Please confer with HR or your supervisor if you don’t know your Position Designation.
The chart below demonstrates that career competencies are required for all position designations. However, the depth, complexity and technical level for each competency should increase as members move from lower to higher position designations. These competencies and skills are described in more detail on the Competencies and Skills tab.
