Kelly Taylor, Member
Sr. Manager, Systems & Tools
Kelly began her professional career working at Vital Smarts, the Crucial Conversations group. It is there that she began to learn to manage projects, work with customers, and create premium brand experiences. While there, she created her first “Online” project: A telephone survey. From there, she disrupted her career by taking a job in Purchasing at the Church Purchasing Department, working with the International Temples Team, purchasing temple furnishings. While there, she received her bachelor’s degree from BYU as well as her C.P.M. professional certification. When the opportunity came to transfer to BYU Purchasing and Travel, she jumped at the chance to work in a more “youthful” environment and re-embrace her technology roots as a technology sourcing specialist. As part of her professional development, Kelly received her M.P.A. in 2004. Her experience has led her to where she is now, managing processes and tools and supplier identity validation. She relishes the opportunities to grow here at the university. She loves what she does and can’t imagine working anywhere else!
