Career Framework
The Career Framework is a matrix made up of six Position Designations along the horizontal axis and the relevant Competencies or skill on the vertical axis. The Position Designations have replaced the numeric pay grades used previously. Please consult with Human Resources or your supervisor if you don’t know your Position Designation.
The chart below demonstrates the career competencies required for all position designations. However, the depth, complexity and technical level for each competency should increase as members move from lower to higher position designations.
Each competency on the left is defined in detail on the Competencies page, along with examples of ways to develop and demonstrate your growth and achievement throughout your chosen career path.
